Why did my account get removed?
To keep our servers and websites safe from being blocked by email service providers, we regularly clean our list of member email addresses using email cleaning services.
These services find and flag email addresses that might cause problems, helping us remove bad or risky ones. They check for several things to make sure emails are valid and can be delivered properly. Here’s what they look for:
- Incorrect Email Format – Makes sure the email is written correctly (e.g., missing "@" or an invalid domain).
- Valid Domain – Checks if the email provider (like @gmail.com) exists and can receive messages.
- Temporary Emails – Finds one-time-use emails often used for spam.
- Spam Traps – Identifies emails designed to catch spammers.
- Generic Emails – Flags emails like info@, support@, or sales@ that don’t belong to a specific person.
- Mail Server Check – Ensures the email provider has working mail servers.
- Catch-All Emails – Detects domains that accept all emails, even fake ones, which can be risky.
- Duplicate Emails – Removes repeated addresses from the list.
- Blacklisted Emails – Finds emails or domains that have been blocked, which could hurt our email reputation.
- Inactive or Invalid Emails – Identifies emails that are no longer active or don’t exist.
These steps help make sure our emails reach real people, reduce bounced emails, and keep our email list clean and effective.
If your email was removed, we didn’t do it manually—thousands of emails are checked at once, and we don’t have direct control over individual removals.
